History

In addition to hosting the Blues, the arena is also home to both NCAA basketball and hockey as well as other music concerts and professional wrestling. Despite all of these events it does not host the most events out of all the arenas but it is up there in numbers and hosts 175 events on average. With this large amount of events, it has been ranked in the top ten arenas worldwide for ticket sales that are not a part of sporting events.

As for the history of the arena itself, it was opened in 1994 then known as the Kiel Center and went on to be renamed the Savvis Center and Scottrade Center in later years. As of 2018 the name was changed to the Enterprise Center which seems to be staying around for a while. Even though the Blues call this arena home, the largest recorded numbers at the arena actually came from a college basketball tournament in 2007. In addition to this large population the Blues have added to the history of the arena recently with their Stanley Cup victory in 2019. It is safe to say that they have the opportunity to repeat this history in the years to come.

Renovation has also occurred recently within the stadium and was completed during the Stanley Cup playoff run of 2019. There were a lot of behind the scenes updates with items such as heating and cooling as well as updated infrastructure for the internet. The seating was also improved with a brand new scoreboard being added as well. With these renovations it is safe to say that the Enterprise Center will be a popular scene for events in the years to come.
